Hurray! Huey Lewis and the News is Back and Relevant!

Woah. Huey Lewis penned the theme song for the Judd Apatow-produced upcoming movie, Pinapple Express. Apparently, Seth Rogen asked the esteemed Mr. Lewis personally, hoping to give the movie a “Power of Love” like vibe. I think it’s a pretty decent job - reminds me of other 80’s movie songs like the Pointed Sisters “Neutron Dance” from Beverly Hills Cop (click the hyperlink).

In other Huey Lewis news, he’s playing a free concert at Coney Island this summer on August 21st.  This guy will be there.  Will Matt Flament?
